How to use LongLiv Supplements

How do I use LongLiv NMN?

We recommend taking LongLiv NMN in the morning. By taking NMN in the morning, we mimic the natural NAD+ levels that studies have shown to occur during our wake cycle. The standard serving is one scoop (1,000mg). You can mix your powder with water or mix it with your favorite smoothie, juice or milk.

We recommend placing a small amount of liquid (whatever you choose to mix it with) in a small cup or large spoon. Then add one scoop of powder. Follow this with stirring and taking!

How do I use LongLiv Resveratrol?

We recommend taking LongLiv Resveratrol in the morning. The standard serving is one scoop (1,000mg). Resveratrol is best absorbed when taken with a high fat substance. Many people choose to use a tablespoon of olive oil or a small amount of yogurt. If you are fasting or intermittent fasting, choosing one of those is not thought to break your fast.

We recommend placing a small amount of liquid or yogurt (whatever you choose to mix it with) in a small cup or large spoon. Then add one scoop of powder. Follow this with stirring and taking!

How do I use LongLiv Sleep Trio

We recommend taking LongLiv Sleep Trio 20-30 minutes before going to sleep.

Product Information

What is NMN?

NMN stands for nicotinamide mononucleotide.  It is a precursor to NAD+ and is derived from Niacin (B-vitamin).

Why do we take NMN?

Supplementation with NMN has demonstrated the ability to improve multiple areas of healthy aging including muscle strength and endurance, cardiovascular health, and neurological function.  This molecule is also involved in gene expression, body weight, and the ability to respond to insulin.

NMN helps provide the “fuel” for genes such as sirtuins to work and this has the potential to promote healthy aging.

NAD+ helps facilitate energy production and decreases with age.  By taking the precursor to NAD+, the intention is to boost the cellular level of NAD+ to more youthful levels.

What is Resveratrol?

Resveratrol is a molecule produced by several plants in response to injury or when it is under attack by pathogens.  Many studies have demonstrated its high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory potential as well as its potential to promote healthy aging.

Resveratrol is found in the skin of foods such as grapes, blueberries, raspberries, and peanuts.

Why do we take Resveratrol?

Supplementation with resveratrol has been show to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, improve memory tasks, improve cardiovascular health, and is thought to act as a caloric restriction mimetic to activate beneficial cellular pathways.

Resveratrol is thought to activate sirtuins which results in more efficient energy production.

By modulating effects of many age-related conditions the goal is to have a positive effect on aging and possibly increase longevity.

Food sources of resveratrol only contain small amounts, therefore supplements allow a much more concentrated amount to be taken.

What is Sleep Trio?

LongLiv Sleep Trio is made up of Apigenin 50mg, Magnesium Threonate 400mg, and L-theanine 200mg.

Why do we take Sleep Trio?

Apigenin is a plant supplement that is commonly found in chamomile, parsley, celery, and guava. In studies it has been shown to have antineoplastic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, pro-mitochondrial, neuroprotective and adaptogenic effects. Recently this molecule has been included in studies regarding improved mood and relaxation, supporting sleep time and sleep rates, and improving daytime effectiveness. Studies have also shown apigenin to compliment NMN by decrease NAD reduction over time allowing genes to stay more “youthful”.

Magnesium is an essential mineral and common electrolyte in the body. Magnesium threonate is a specific form of magnesium that has shown to be more effective at reaching the brain and providing beneficial cognitive effects. These levels decrease with age and supplementation is important to help maintain memory and healthy brain signaling.

L-theanine is an amino acid found in the tea plant. It has been shown to positively affect neurotransmitters involved in a healthy stress response, focusing, and relaxation. This molecule is also thought to be involved with appetite and energy.
